This is a self portrait of myself from senior year. I did this in my mixed media class. This is a stylistic portrait that includes a green june bug. I found it in the morning on the floor on my way to class and felt a connection so I held on to it all day till the end of school. I have never really done something like this, I was impressed with myself and I am proud of it. This piece shows a connection between me and this bug, or maybe it's just one sided. I started with a rough sketch under and over it used scraps of paper and mod podge to glue them together.
