Artwork blurb- Based on my little toy collection, I painted this girl doll. She is surrounded by many items and doodles. It is chaos, it is expression. As an artist, I appreciate people with loud expressions. Show yourself off, this is you. I could imagine that these things surrounding the doll are her thoughts, all these ideas coming out of her mind. The mind is complex and we should all be allowed to let it wander. This could also be seen as an artist's mind, loaded with creativity, sometimes not all pretty. I used these little trinkets I like to hold on to, glued them on. I enjoy adding texture and dimension into my pieces. Makes it more interesting in my opinion.
